ACE Hardware
On March 24, 2016 we presented a Certificate of Appreciation to
Dorothy Page of H&R Block for her ongoing support of our Post.
1st Vice Commander of District 4 Roy Lacombe and Post Adjutant
Haven Hull made the presentation.
On April 21, 2016 Doug and Jennifer Ford presented a $2500.00 check to our
post. This money was one half of the proceeds from the second Annual Nate Ford
Memorial Basketball Tournament.

Nate Ford who was killed in an auto accident in 2015 was a member of our
American Legion Baseball Team and is sorely missed by all.

Nate started this Tournament before his untimely death to show his support for
Veterans and the community of Maricopa.

Accepting the donation from the Ford's is Post  Commander Derek Jeske.

Many thanks to the Ford Family for their generosity.
On April 29, 2016 our Post presented a plaque to Jeanna and Rand Delcotto of Raceway Bar
and Grill for their unwavering and continuous support of military Veterans and the American
Legion Post 133 of Maricopa. Pictured from left to right are Department Historian Roy White,  
Financial Officer Terry Oldfield, Rand Delcotto, Jeanna Delcotto, Commander Derek Jeske
and Adjutant Haven Hull.
On May 1, 2016 Our Post presented a Certificate of Appreciation to
the Maricopa Lutheran Church for their generous donation to our
Veterans Assistance Fund which helps Veterans and their families.

On May 29, 2016 Our Post presented a Certificate of
Appreciation to Journey Methodist Church for contributions
to our Veterans Assistance Fund. Receiving the award is
Pastor Jen Lower.
On November 5, 2016 at the ACE Hardware 10th Anniversary celebration, our Post
presented ACE owner Mike Richey with our 2nd annual Veterans Run shirt to show
our appreciation for his outstanding support of Veterans and Post 133.
